On Tuesday, May 23rd, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino commemorated the completion of its phase one expansion with a traditional “guitar smash”. Participants in the guitar smash included Marcellus Osceola, Seminole Tribe of Florida Chairman; Jim Allen, Hard Rock International Chairman and Seminole Gaming CEO; Joe Lupo, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa property president; and Seminole Tribe of Florida Tribal Council Members.
The recent opening of the new Smoke Free Gaming area was the last piece of the puzzle to complete phase one of expansion, which also included the openings of a new:
The new Smoke Free Gaming area adds over 850 of the newest and most popular slot machines to the already thousands of machines the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa has to offer, and doubles the original size of designated smoke free gaming area! Located on the bottom floor of the Mezzanine Level Casino, the new area includes:
- 20 big screen TV’s
- Smoke free bar with video poker
- Dedicated cage and Player’s Club
- Dedicated smoke free entrance and Uber drop off and pick up area
- Memorabilia items including a jacket from Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones
So when the next opportunity arises, come park in the new 700-space Orient Road Garage and enjoy the self-guided memorabilia “rock walk” tour as you stroll in to the casino. Follow the walk to find yourself at the new high-end, art deco inspired Mezzanine Level Casino complete with new slot machines and 15-live-action table games. Head downstairs afterwards to catch a glimpse of the new Smoke Free Gaming area or make your way to the new state-of-the-art, 46-table Poker Room.
