Walking into the casino there’s a sense of excitement in the air while hearing the sounds of the lively slot machines. There’s never a dull moment working in the casino industry, just ask Sonia. Known for her magnetic smile that could brighten anyone’s day, Sonia has been serving up drinks as a Cocktail Server with Seminole Hard Rock Tampa since 2012. This Miami, Florida native truly loves her job interacting with guests on a daily basis and feels that serving a simple drink can make any situation 100 times better.

This is also Sonia’s third year as a Seminole Hard Rock Calendar Girl and brand ambassador. She is proud to be able to represent the Hard Rock brand that does so much for the Tampa Bay Community, especially when it comes to working with various charities to raise funds for a great cause. One of Sonia’s favorite charities is Go Gold for Childhood Cancer, which raises awareness to childhood cancer, the number one disease killer of children in the United States. Their efforts provide funding toward research focused on less harsh treatments and more cures.

While working with Go Gold, Sonia had the pleasure of visiting John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital and meeting many amazing children battling cancer, which will always be a memorable experience for her.

Sonia will continue this journey and the sisterhood bond she shares with the other 19 Hard Rock Calendar Girls in 2017.

Do you have a favorite Hard Rock memorabilia?

My favorite is the Ace Frehley’s outfit located by Center Bar. I love how the silver sparkles under the lights.

Who is your favorite musician or band?

My favorite band of all times is Earth, Wind, and Fire. Their music, no matter what song is playing, always makes you feel great.

Which is your favorite Seminole Hard Rock Tampa restaurant?

My favorite restaurant would have to be Jubao Palace Noodle Bar. It’s a quick-stop spot and has some of the most delicious menu items you can sink your teeth into.
