HARD ROCK RISING GIVES ASPIRING ARTISTS A CHANCE AT STARDOM
Announcing Open Registration for World’s Largest Battle of the Bands Competition
Hard Rock International is calling on emerging musicians to take center stage for the chance to play during halftime at Hard Rock Stadium! As part of this year’s Hard Rock Rising, the most far-reaching battle of the bands competition, artists and music acts at more than 125 Hard Rock Cafe, Hotel, and Casino properties across the globe will drop a beat or sing their hearts out for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Artist registration is now open at HardRockRising.com.
WHAT IS IT?
“Hard Rock Rising is a one-of-a-kind global competition that provides an opportunity for aspiring artists of all genres to showcase their talent and connect with new fans,” said Shailyne Berges, Marketing Manager at Hard Rock International. “Musicians in more than 70 countries around the globe entered Hard Rock Rising and nearly 175,000 votes were cast by fans in the wildcard round in 2016. This year’s competition is sure to be just as fierce, and we’re looking forward to putting the winning artist on the fast-track to success with a performance in front of thousands at Hard Rock Stadium.”
WHERE AND WHEN?
Each participating Hard Rock location will host live music events between May 18thand May 25th, selecting one of the performers to be submitted for regional judging. Slots for this contest are very limited, so we are giving local artists an opportunity to leverage their social media fan bases for a shot at participation.
WHO PICKS THE ACTS?
Each participating Hard Rock will select the acts for their showcase in conjunction with ReverbNation. We’re looking for great songs, originality, and charisma — the real deal.
GOT A HUGE SOCIAL MEDIA FOLLOWING?
One competition slot at each location is reserved for a “Social Media Wildcard.” Upon registration, you’re automatically eligible for this wildcard slot.
From May 1st to May 6th, this website will showcase all artists competing for the Social Media Wildcard slot. The band with the most votes in each location is guaranteed to perform during the live competition. All other performers are selected by Hard Rock and ReverbNation from the pool of entrants.
