Seminole Hard Rock Weekend Celebration for Opening of New Venues

Damon Wayans, Sr. and Damon Wayans, Jr. will bring their comedy show to the Hard Rock Cafe in Seminole Casino Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa on Saturday, December 13, at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Tickets (at $50 per person) will go on sale via beginning Monday, November 17. The show is for those 21 & up.

Wayans, Sr. is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer. He began his career in the early 1980’s and had his true breakthrough as the co-creator of his own sketch comedy show, In Living Color, from 1990 to 1992. Since then he has starred in a number of films and television shows, some of which he co-produced or co-wrote including The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne and the sitcom My Wife and Kids.

Wayans, Jr., the oldest son of Damon Wayans Sr., is also an accomplished stand-up comedian, but is most widely known for starring as Brad Williams in the ABC comedy series Happy Endings and as Coach in the Fox comedy series New Girl. He also starred in the comedy film Let’s Be Cops.

The Wayans comedy show will be part of a weekend celebration at the property for the opening of its new High Limit Slots room, the remodeled Rock Spa® and the new Hard Rock Girls Blackjack Pit area.

The High Limit Slots room will contain two gaming areas. “Ultra” will have slots with bets from $25 to $2,000 per spin, while “High Limit” will have slots with bets from $3 to $500 per spin. There will be 65 games in the “Ultra” area and 149 games in the “High Limit” area.

It will also offer Hard Rock’s recently introduced “Rhythm & Motion,” the world’s first full immersive music-centric spa menu utilizing amplified vibrations, pressures and patterns as the foundation of its treatments.
