Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa stopped in the newly renovated Rock Spa® last Friday night. Rock Spa® opened its doors to the public Monday, December 15.
Comedian, actress, host and best-selling author Jenny McCarthy, who has a daily radio show on Sirius XM, “Dirty Sexy Funny with Jenny McCarthy” and new show “Donnie Loves Jenny” airing on A&E beginning in early January, helped unveil the new venue.
More Zeppelin than Zen, the “new” Rock Spa® covers 5,782 square feet; more than double the size of the previous version. It includes an all-new hair and nail salon and features the most luxurious products and services currently trending in the industry.
Rock Spa® also offers Hard Rock’s recently introduced “Rhythm & Motion,” the world’s first fully immersive music-centric spa menu utilizing amplified vibrations, pressures and patterns as the foundation of its treatments. This groundbreaking experience will take guests on a rhythmic massage journey.
A couples shower/massage room has been added with features such as a large multi-body spray/jetted shower for two, double massage beds and a new “wet room” treatment room with full height marble walls, mirror and glass mosaic tile that will accommodate specialty treatments.
The men’s and women’s locker rooms were lavished with improvements made to the pools and steam rooms.
Salon services include hair for both men and women; waxing; facials; facial add-ons, beauty, massage, body treatments, nails and nails add-ons. Many of the services are named after prominent rock songs like “Forever Young” (facial); “If I Could Turn Back Time” (facial add-on); “Solid as a Rock” (massage); “Walk This Way” (pedicure); and “Pour Some Sugar on Me” (body treatment).
Food and drinks are also available with a menu featuring international cold lunch selections and domestic cold lunch selections.
The Rock Spa® was designed by Cleo Design out of Las Vegas. Led by Principals Ann Fleming and Ken Kulas, Cleo Design has produced some of the biggest gaming design projects conceptualized this decade. It has been ranked in Interior Design Magazine’s Top 75 hospitality giants for eight years.
