Captain of the New York Yankees, Derek Jeter kicked off his 11th Annual Celebrity Golf classic with a highly-anticipated and exclusive Launch Party at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The celebrity-packed event was held in the Hard Rock Cafe.
The invite-only party offered guests the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll experience. Upon arrival they enjoyed a cocktail reception, hors d’oeuvres and a private concert performed by Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, actor and philanthropist, Ne-Yo. Not to mention, they were hanging out with more than a dozen star athletes, close personal friends of Jeter himself.
Stars that were spotted on the red carpet included: Andres Galarraga, Goose Gossage, Greg Jennings, Andruw Jones, Albert Pujols, Jorge Posada and many more.
As presenting sponsors, Seminole Hard Rock was proud to donate $150,000 to Derek Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation. The event was a huge success, raising more than $1 million for his foundation. Another special part of the evening included a silent auction of exclusive sports memorabilia that was provided by Steiner Sports Memorabilia.
