Pinktober is here!

This month marks two decades of our annual Pinktober program in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Throughout October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are going PINK in support of this amazing initiative, with several fundraising activation that will benefit the Hard Rock Heals Foundation and the American Cancer Society.

“For 20 years, Hard Rock International has been a proud supporter of breast cancer awareness and research efforts around the globe, raising over $7 million through our annual programming,” – Jon Lucas, Chief Operating Officer of Hard Rock International

Last year, our team raised $92,000 to help fund research for prevention and a cure for breast cancer, while supporting the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk as the $50,000 Pink Premier Sponsor.

We are once again the Pink Premier Sponsor for this year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, taking place on Sunday, November 3rd, at Raymond James Stadium beginning at 9 a.m. Last year, our team, the Rockin’ Walkstars, were the number one fundraising team in the state.

This year’s program has plenty of pink to go around! We’re coming in full force with custom co-branded recyclable totes and koozies in its retail stores with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to the cause.

“The work our Cafes, Hotels, Casinos and Rock Shops do on a global and local level to support this cause and spread a message of strength, hope and awareness is important to our brand, philanthropic partners around the world and the family and friends affected by this disease.” – Jon Lucas, Chief Operating Officer of Hard Rock International

Message of Strength

More than 1,000 of our team members have donated one percent of their pay for the month of October to benefit the American Cancer Society. Those same team members will be able to partake in “Wear Pink Wednesdays” and wear the provided “Rockin’ Walkstars” shirt to work.

Participate in PINKTOBER

Guests wanting to show their support and participate in the pink party can visit us and take part in fundraising activations benefiting the American Cancer Society, October 1 through October 29.

The Pinktober Poker Open will be taking place from October 9 to October 20 with a portion of the buy-ins going to the ACS.

Finally, Hard Rock Cafe will host “Hard Rock Rock ‘n’ Roll Trivia” on Tuesday, October 22, at 7 p.m. to benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. It’s open to the public on a first come, first served basis. There’s a $10 entry fee per person and we will match the dollar amount raised from entry fees and donate it to the American Cancer Society.
