Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has partnered with local athlete and philanthropist Derrick Brooks, naming his non-profit Derrick Brooks Charities, Inc. April’s organization of the month. The NFL Hall of Famer started the organization, which focuses on improving the lives of underserved youth in Tampa Bay.

Slots? Blackjack? Golf? Derrick Brooks and the Hard Rock Tampa are full of surprises this year. The 15th annual Derrick Brooks Celebrity Classic will be April 26 and you definitely don’t want to miss weekend of festivities.

This month we are painting the town red with the limited edition Hard Rock shades! The casino will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds generated from the sales of the shades sold in the Rock Shop. We hope you jump on this band wagon and join the cause.

Along with the shades, we will hold a benefit slot tournament, taking place on April 26 from 3-7:30pm, which 50% proceeds go to the organization and 50% to the slot tournament prize pull. The organization will also receive a custom signed guitar by Hard Rock team members upon the check presentation. In addition, a portion of the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Calendar sales will benefit the organization.
