During the month of November, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa guests will have the opportunity to support the charity Metropolitan Ministries.

Metropolitan Ministries serves poor and homeless families in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Polk counties with compassion, practical help and a willingness to make a difference.

The property will be selling customized limited edition earbuds in its retail shops for $10 with 100 percent of the proceeds generated going to the organization.

To further support the charity, the property will host a Metropolitan Ministries benefit event on Wednesday, November 30.

Open to the public, the benefit event will feature a charity slot tournament at Center Bar (2 p.m.), as well as a red carpet ceremony (6 p.m.), a concert by the Matt Billor Duo (7 p.m.) and a check presentation of funds raised for the month (8 p.m.) in Hard Rock Cafe.

The slot tournament has an entry fee of $10 and 50 percent of those proceeds will be donated to the charity and 50 percent to the prize pool. Tickets can be purchased at the Rock Shop or upon entry of the event.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa team members will also be participating in the iHeart Media Food Drive to benefit Metropolitan Ministries on Sunday, November 18, from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Westshore Mall.

Additionally, the property will once again be doing an “unselfie” activation for Metropolitan Ministries in conjunction with #GivingTuesday on November 29. Team members and guests will be encouraged to take a photo with a written sign placed in front of their faces that reads “I’m giving on #GivingTuesday”, accompany it with the hashtag #Unselfie, and post the photo on social media. The posting should include Metropolitan Ministries’ social media pages.

As part of its #GivingTuesday initiative, Metropolitan Ministries is hoping to raise $58,000.
