A compilation album project featuring the best of the festival is also in the works.
There’s still time for local artists to submit an entry to perform at the upcoming festival in Seminole Hard Rock Tampa. The deadline to submit a video entry showcasing the talent to the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa website is May 8 at 5 p.m.
The festival, which develops and showcases upcoming artists, is scheduled for Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in Hard Rock Cafe Tampa. Each day, at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., four local acoustic artists will perform and then a headline acoustic artist will take the stage from 9 p.m. to midnight.
Those who are selected by the Hard Rock Cafe music team will be placed on the schedule for the month long festival. Professional photography and videography will be a provided resource to the selected artists for their personal use.
Additionally, three national acts, to be announced at a later date, will perform on June 1, June 14 and June 30.
