Today’s Music Monday: Top 5 Bruce Springsteen Songs to add to your playlist

Let’s lighten up this dreary Monday with a little rock trivia.

Did you know that…today (Dec. 8, 1996) it was announced that for the first time in nearly a decade, Bruce Springsteen would reunite with the E Street Band for a 25th anniversary world tour?

A New Jersey native, Bruce Springsteen is known for his poetic lyrics featuring the American working class and his stance on certain political issues. During the rise of his career many recognized him as a cross between Bob Dylan and Van Morrison, but through the years Springsteen developed his own voice and following, making him the fifteenth highest selling artist of all time. As of today, he has sold more than 64 million albums in the United States and more than 120 million records nationwide living up to his nickname “The Boss.”

Today a few of our Hard Rock team members got together and discussed some of our favorite Springsteen songs and came up with our “Top 5 Bruce Springsteen Songs to add to your playlist.”

Be sure to share your favorite jams from “The Boss” with us on our social media sites using the hashtag #MusicMonday and #HardRockTampa.
