Hard Rock Announces Partnership With Rdio. #MusicMonday

Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos is the launch partner for Rdio’s “Promoted Music Experience” (PME) – which gives Hard Rock a central musical hub and thus a central brand voice on the Rdio platform, allowing access to Rdio’s global catalog of 35+ million songs.  It’s a first to market concept and yet another innovative music-centric touch point for Hard Rock.

The PME package inspires listener engagement by natively tapping into three of Rdio’s core features:

  • Branded Stations: Hard Rock’s station features songs aligned with brand personality – the current station was curated by Vibe Managers around the world. The branded stations will be spotlighted to Rdio listeners and will be available on both the free, ad-supported streaming radio service and paid subscriptions.

  • Branded Profiles: Hard Rock has the ability to customize our own branded profile which displays featured content developed in collaboration with Rdio’s team of curators. The branded profiles will be spotlighted to Rdio listeners and will be available on both the free, ad-supported streaming radio service and paid subscriptions. We are currently featuring the new SOYS campaign.

  • Branded Home Stories: Curated stations, custom artwork and Hard Rock information will be integrated into Rdio’s Home Stories on Rdio’s free, ad-supported service, where listeners can easily interact with the branded features
