Battle of the Wines: France vs California

Battle of the wines? Count us in! On May 4th, Grey Salt will host a wine pairing dinner featuring wines from France competing against wines from California. Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Cocktails begin at 6:30 pm
  • Four-course seated dinner begins at 7 pm
    • First course: 2 by 2 Oysters
    • Second course: Grilled Local Black Grouper
    • Third course: Wood Fired Colorado Lamb
    • Dessert: Panna Cotta
  • Featured wines include:
    • First course: Pascal Jolivet 2014 (Sancerre, Loire, France), Provenance Vineyards 2014 (Napa, Calif.)
    • Second course: Christian Moreau 2013 (Chablis, Burgundy, France), Landmark “Overlook” 2013 (Sonoma, Calif.)
    • Third course: Jean-Luc Colombo “Les Ruchets” 2011 (Cornas, Rhone, France) and Qupe 2013 (Central Coast, Calif.)
