Heather Arguello, Retail Sales Associate for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa’s two retail stores is known for her extraordinary guest relations. She has been with the casino now for nearly four years and has had roles in various departments before she found her love for retail art design. In her personal life, Heather is an avid free hand artist.
Heather politely greets every guest as they walk in the store and can quickly anticipate their needs. She was recently honored with the Seminole Hard Rock team member award “Rocker of the Month” for her willingness to go above and beyond for others. This award gives each winner $1,000 and an opportunity for $10,000 at the end of the year.
Heather works hard in both the Rock Shop (located next to Hard Rock Cafe) and the Hard Rock Store (located next to Lobby Bar). She not only far exceeds guest’s expectations as a sales associate, but she also impresses property management and pin collectors with her intricate artistic abilities.
During a collectors pin design contest that Nikki Houser, Retail Manager, held, Heather participated by submitting her very own creative drawings that were inspired by four seasons.
“My art is a reflection of my emotions,” she said. Her incredible talent to draw won that contest with a pin she designed called “Summer Celebration,” which was sold in stores.
It gets even better than Heather’s seasonal summer love though. She has created over 10 pins with eight designed specifically for each of the four seasons. There are four seasonal pins for each store. Her personal favorite is the “Winter Fairy” that she created for the Hard Rock Cafe.
In addition to her seasonal collection, Heather has created an angel/devil set and puzzle pieces that match each other, but each are sold separately. There is one thing you should know…once they’re sold out, they’re gone. All Heather’s original crafted pins in the Hard Rock retail stores are Limited Editions!
This is where the behind the scenes world of pin trading comes into play. There are individuals from all over the world who collect Hard Rock pins from various Hard Rock locations, including Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
