The Hard Rock Cafe in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is truly the only place where burgers, blackjack and bands come together.
Meet Chef Jason Patterson, Hard Rock Cafe Chef. Originally from Houston, Texas, Jason started his career in culinary when he was 16 years old at R J’s Express in San Angelo, Texas.
Jason has been a part of the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa team since 2008 where he started out as a Sous Chef of Council Oak Steaks & Seafood.
Some of Jason’s favorite bands include JJ Grey and Mofro, Citizen Cope and he even enjoys old school rock and roll classics such as ACDC and Metallica.
Chef Jason oversees 30 cooks and three sous chefs. Being that the Hard Rock Cafe hosts a wide range of events, Chef Jason’s schedule is anything, but cookie cutter. He is always mixing up a new recipe as it pertains to his day to day and he wouldn’t have it any other way. The change of pace and “ingredients” within his career keeps him on his toes at all times.
If Chef Jason had to choose anywhere to eat on property, besides the Hard Rock Cafe, he would choose Council Oak Steaks & Seafood for their Long Bone Cowboy Ribeye.
Fun Fact: Jason is a motorcycle enthusiast. He has been riding motorcycles since he was eight years old and is currently the owner of a Triumph Speed Triple.
