Have you ever wondered if there are any celebrities that live right here in your back yard and if so which ones?
We have some of Tampa’s local celebs coming to Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa to help unveil the world’s first Hard Rock Girls Blackjack Pit on the casino floor.
The red carpet will roll out in front of the Hard Rock Cafe on Thursday, February 12, at 6 p.m. and will feature various local celebrities, including former Bachelor Pad Season 3 winner Nick Peterson and America’s Got Talent Season 9 contestant Justin Rhodes.
The lovely 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Calendar Girls will be dealing the first hand of blackjack in the new pit and assisting Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s President, John Fontana in the red ribbon cutting.
Fontana announced that 100 percent of the proceeds generated from the first hand of blackjack will be donated to Voices for Children, a Tampa Bay-based charity that provides support and advocacy for the abused, neglected and abandoned children in the community.
The new attraction will feature six top-of-the line table games, with all hands being dealt by Hard Rock Girls.
Following the red carpet event, Rhodes will perform a one-hour concert beginning at 7 p.m. in the Hard Rock Cafe.
According to Paul Mollo, Vice President of Table Games, the new Hard Rock Girls Blackjack Pit will be comfortable, yet action-packed.
“Our goal is to give our guests a fun and relaxed environment to play in, while enjoying a sporting event,” said Mollo. “We’re very proud of the newest addition that will take our total number of tables from 116 to 122. The player loyalty and resulting growth we are experiencing is impressive in this market.”
The bonus of this event is the newly launched Hard Rock shades that are taking over this year in the retail stores and throughout the casino.
The limited edition Voices for Children sunglasses will be for sale ($5) at the event and all month long and yes, 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the charity!
The chic glasses fit perfectly with the ultra chic pit that was designed by Las Vegas-based company Cleo Design.
Led by Principals Ann Fleming and Ken Kulas, Cleo Design has produced some of the biggest gaming design projects conceptualized this decade. It has been ranked in Interior Design Magazine’s Top 75 hospitality giants for eight years.
We hope to see you there rockin’ the red carpet alongside some of Tampa’s local celebs.
