Did we forget to mention that this experience can only be had at one casino in the entire world?

This month, we opened the world’s first Hard Rock Girls Blackjack pit with a star studded red carpet In case you missed it, we celebrated the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and local celebrities who strive to make a difference in the community. Nick Peterson (the winner of Bachelor Pad 3) and Justin Rhodes (America’s Got Talent) walked the red carpet alongside three of the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Calendar Girls.

As glamorous as the new Hard Rock Girls Blackjack pit is, we also want to shed light on our dedication to philanthropy this month and devotion to being a voice for children. This event was set to raise awareness and funds for abused, neglected, and abandoned children in the community.

In efforts to do so, Orlando Davis from WiLd 94.1 and Laura Harris host of ABC “The Now Tampa Bay” joined Peterson and Rhodes for a hand at blackjack at the grand opening. They each won and doubled their $100 bets which totaled $800. All of the winnings went to the our February local charity of the month, Voices for Children.

In addition to the blackjack tournament, we hosted a slot tournament and benefit concert in Hard Rock Cafe last night, presenting a check for $5,640 to Voices for Children.

The slot tournament had a $10 entry fee with 50 percent of the proceeds going to the charity and 50 percent to the prize pool. In addition to a portion of the tournament proceeds going to the charity, the casino donated 100 percent of the proceeds generated from sales of limited edition Voices for Children sunglasses in the Rock Shop as well as proceeds from sales of the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Girls Calendar.
